“Doc….Since I was
born, I have not been eating meat anymore, neither sweets no any addictions
too. Every day I take meals from home; I also drink enough water daily and
practice exercises. Still, how come i have detected with diabetes and blood
pressure. Even of my uncle… never consumed alcohol, never smoked. Recently
ended life for the cause stomach cancer. I wonder why we get these
sufferings!!??” This type of question is not just the one I've heard. "The
precious question" Every doctor has heard throughout his life. Here is the
answer
क्लेशमूलः कर्माशयो दृष्टादृष्टजन्मवेदनीयःII
kleśa-mūlaḥ
karma-aśayo dr̥ṣṭa-adr̥ṣṭa-janma-vedanīyaḥ ( Patanjali Yoga Sutra, Sadhana
Pada,12)
Obstacles ( Kleshas : Avidya = lack of insight, Asmita=Sense of “I”/ego, Raga=desire/passion, Dvesha= Hatred, Abhinavesha=deep seated anxiety/fear of death) are the root causes, The fruits of the Karma which are seen and unseen will also cause pain in several births. That's something we experience. Some will be postponed to the next birth without having to suffer.
Avidya: Lack of insight- We know sleeping late
night- late morning, eating junk foods, irregular food timings as well not
involving in any physical exercise will induce ill health. Still, knowingly
continuing the same/wrong habits.
Asmitha: Sense of I/ego - Expecting every work
should be done as my instructions, if that’s goes wrong which makes to lose
patience, feeling stressed brings abnormal changes in the body.
Raga: Desire/passion - Reason for physical / mental
stress disorders caused by restlessness work with the desire to gain
power, money, wealth etc.
Dvesha: Hatred - Mental / physical stress caused
by the growth and developmental envy of others

(IshaVasya Upanishad)
That
is complete, this is complete, from the completeness comes the completeness. If completeness is taken away from completeness, only completeness remains.
Got confused? Simple.. consider I am a Soul(Atma). My friend also consists same Soul, because we both came from same Universal Soul(Paramatma). Therefore I am complete whereas my friend too. That's why if I hate myself that's like hating me. This kind of negative vibrations will lead into diseases.
Abhinavesha: Deep seated anxiety/ fear of death -
Impatient mind leading to stress while standing in front of crowded ATM.
Graying hair, wrinkling skin signifies you are getting older, even though
hiding them with cosmetics which will cause diseases.
Karmashaya: Desires of Karma = Karma is the work we
do (whether it's the help we can do to others or just want the best in mind).
If we do well we have good fruits, bad follows the bad fruits. However, the
four Karmas depended on the fruits are the principal: Sanchitha Karma,
Prarabdha Karma, Kriyamana Karma, Agami Karma. Thus the fruits of Karma we have
made are not just about to end in this birth. That's even follow in next births
which lead to sufferings. Sometimes they are severe eg: physical disability by
birth, congenital disorders( Even modern science analyses, there is no disgust
in the father and mothe). Diseases are experienced after birth when Karmashaya
is dull. They are diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer like disorders.
